Technical specifications you might need to make the best use of the CIA site.

Browsers

We have found that this site works best with the latest browsers available from Microsoft and/or from Mozilla Firefox; indeed, it may not work at all if your browser is lower than version 7.x, with cookies and JavaScript enabled. If you need to upgrade your browser, use one of these links:

  

Also, please make sure your display settings are 1024x768 pixels, with 256 or more colours - you can check this using the Control Panel/Display/Settings window.

Adobe Acrobat

To provide you with postscript print quality documents that look the same with any printer and computer platforms, the CIA Secretariat uses the Acrobat Reader PDF format for most of its electronic publications. PDF files can be browsed, read, searched and printed with Adobe Acrobat Reader. It is free.
