Membership & EducationPractice Education CourseRegistrationPractice Education Course (PEC) June 3 - 6, 2012 Ottawa ON As space is limited, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, space provided. Registration ProceduresCandidates who have satisfied the eligibility requirements should complete the registration form and return it to the CIA Secretariat along with payment of the registration fee ($1,200 + HST) by April 1st. Full payment must be received at the time of registration, otherwise your registration will not be processed. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the date of receipt of the registration form and payment of the registration fee. However, due to size considerations, some practice area specialties may not be offered at every PEC session. Registrations will be accepted on a space-permitted basis. Candidates will receive a confirmation of registration approximately 10 days after receipt of the registration form and payment. Please check your confirmation to make sure everything is correct. Cancellation PolicyA refund of the payment received less $50 will be granted only for refund requests made in writing and reaching the CIA office seven business days prior to the first day of the PEC. After that date, we will convert your payment received into a credit note, less the administrative charge of $125. This credit note is good for one full year redeemable towards a future PEC, CIA meeting or seminar. No refunds or credit notes will be processed for cancellations received once the meeting has started. Special cases will be evaluated on individual merit and the final decision will be made in writing by the Director of Operations of the CIA. The CIA has the right to cancel any PEC session if conditions warrant. In the event of such cancellation, registration fees will be refunded. The Canadian Institute of Actuaries will not be held liable for any airline or other cancellation fees assessed attendees. |
